In practice: Volvo Niham
The connection has proven itself in practice. Volvo Niham, with branches in The Hague, Wassenaar, Westland, and Zoetermeer, managed its loaner and rental cars until recently with paper forms. An employee had to physically go to the vehicle to register the mileage and fuel level.
Thanks to the integration, that is a thing of the past. Volvo Niham now sees directly in Plan-IT where a car is located, what the current mileage is, and what the fuel or battery level is. The reception works faster, the chance of errors in invoicing is greatly reduced, and the sale of vehicles from the rental fleet also proceeds more accurately.
