What is the difference between a battery-powered and a wired tracker?
A battery-powered tracker operates without a power connection and transmits location data at a low frequency. We offer two variants:
- GPS variant: ideal for outdoor use, such as with containers, trailers, and construction equipment. Accurate location determination via GPS.
- Indoor variant: also works in locations with poor or no GPS coverage, such as in warehouses, parking garages, or hospitals. Location determination via Wi-Fi signals.
A wired tracker is connected to the power supply of a machine or vehicle and continuously records location, usage, and operating hours. This tracker works best in locations where good GPS coverage is available.
Can the system integrate with our existing software?
