Users of modern e-scooters expect real-time GPS tracking and control via their smartphone. Without connected technology, that experience is missing, and theft prevention remains limited to traditional mechanical solutions.
For Brekr, it was clear: the IoT technology had to be seamlessly integrated into the vehicle without compromising the design and be future-proof enough to be updated remotely.
The solution: integrated IoT module with GPS tracking from Conneqtech
Conneqtech developed an invisibly integrated IoT module in the Brekr Model B, coupled with a user-friendly app fully tailored to the Brekr experience. The solution offers real-time GPS tracking, insights into rides and mileage, notifications for unexpected use or movement, and continuous remote software updates.
Additionally, the module is linked to a tracking service. When a scooter is stolen, the search begins immediately via the app. To date, all stolen Brekr e-scooters have been successfully recovered.
The result: a fully connected e-scooter with proven theft protection.
Brekr now offers a driving experience that goes beyond mobility. Users always have GPS insight into their vehicle and can park it with peace of mind.
